The Wolf Pack are above .500 for the first time on the year, at 4-3-0-1 for nine points, after winning two of their three games this past week. After a 4-3 home loss to Providence on Wednesday night, the Pack posted their first home victory of the season Friday, a 2-1 shootout triumph over Springfield. Saturday also saw the Pack win 2-1, this time over the Sharks in Worcester. Greg Moore, the Pack's leading scorer, chipped in a game-winning goal and two assists, plus the goal that ended Friday's shootout, and rookie Brodie Dupont registered points in all three games (1-2-3). Chris Holt notched his first two AHL victories of the season in net, relieving Al Montoya to start the third period Friday and stopping six out of seven shots, and going three-for-three in the shootout, and denying 25 out of 26 Worcester tries on Saturday.
This week:
The Wolf Pack face their first three-games-in-three-nights challenge of the season. The Worcester Sharks will visit the Hartford Civic Center Friday on Guida's Family Value Night (7:00), and the Toronto Marlies make their first-ever appearance in Hartford on Saturday (7:00). The Pack then travel to Manchester to take on the Monarchs Sunday (4:05).
Tuesday, October 30th - "Wolf Pack Confidential", at the M&M Restaurant at the Hilton Hartford, on ESPN Radio 1410 This week's edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly Tuesday-night talk show, hosted by Bob Crawford, features Wolf Pack forward Greg Moore and defenseman Corey Potter as scheduled guests. The show airs live from a new home, the M&M Restaurant at the Hilton Hartford, located at 315 Trumbull St. in downtown Hartford, from 7:00-8:00 PM. Fans are welcome to be on hand at M&M for an exclusive opportunity to ask questions and speak one-on-one with the players. Wolf Pack Confidential can be heard live on the radio home of the Wolf Pack, ESPN Radio 1410.
Friday, November 2nd vs. Worcester at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
- Friday nights are Guida's Family Value Nights throughout the Wolf Pack season. Fans can purchase Family Value Night packages that include tickets, hot dogs or pizza slices, sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir and start as low as $39 per family. - The Wolf Pack took the first of eight battles on the year between themselves and the Sharks, 2-1, this past Saturday night in Worcester.
- The loss to the Pack was the Sharks' first regulation defeat in six games on the season. Head Coach Roy Sommer's club is 4-1-1-0 for nine points.
- Mike Iggulden, who tallied Worcester's only goal in Saturday's game, leads the Sharks club in scoring, with 4-5-9. Rookie Nate Raduns is the top goal-scorer on the team, with 5-1-6.
- The March of Dimes will have a table on the Civic Center concourse, to kick off Prematurity Awareness Month.

Saturday, November 3rd vs. Toronto at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
- This is the first-ever visit by the Marlies, top affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, to Hartford.
- The first 5,000 kids 16 or under into the game will receive a free Wolf Pack T-shirt.
- The Wolf Pack and Marlies played each other for the first time October 21st in Toronto, and the Wolf Pack prevailed, 4-3 in a shootout, after trailing 2-1 and 3-2.
- That shootout defeat to the Wolf Pack is the only blemish on the Marlies' record. They sit atop the North Division at 6-0-0-1 for 13 points.
- 13th-year veteran David Ling leads the Marlies in scoring, with 3-9-12. That ties him for tops in the AHL in assists and is good for a tie for third in the league in points.

Sunday, November 4th at Manchester (Verizon Wireless Arena), 4:05 p.m.
- This is already the Wolf Pack's second visit of the season to Manchester. The Monarchs captured the first game of the eight-game season series, 5-4 in a shootout, October 12th.
- Manchester is currently playing .500 hockey, at 3-3-1-1 for eight points.
- Center Gabe Gauthier (4-8-12) is the top scorer on the Monarch club, and Matt Moulson (5-4-9) leads the team in goals.

The Wolf Pack's lovable mascot, Sonar, will be attending the Halloween Howl at the Children's Museum in West Hartford (950 Trout Brook Dr., 860-231-2824) tonight, Monday, October 29th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Sonar will also be on hand at a fund-raising softball game at Webb Elementary School, 51 Willow St. in Wethersfield (860-571-8341), this Saturday, November 3rd from noon to 3:00 PM.
The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation will be holding its annual Bowl-a-Thon to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut Eastern Region on Sunday, December 16th at AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford. Teams of four bowlers raise pledges to bowl alongside a Wolf Pack player. Space is limited, so interested participants are urged to call soon for more information or to sign up.
