Moose Sign May to PTO

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed centre Scott May to a pro tryout contract.

May, 26, appeared in one game this past weekend with the Binghamton Senators on Oct. 27/07. He has also played in three games with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL this year where he scored three goals and two assists for five points and two penalty minutes. May was originally on the Moose roster after training camp, but was released from his pro tryout contract on Oct. 12/07.

The White Rock, BC native has now appeared in 84 career AHL games with Binghamton, Iowa, Milwaukee, and St. John's. In that time, he's scored nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points and 71 penalty minutes. He's also played in 79 career ECHL games with Pensacola, Trenton, Phoenix, and Elmira where's scored 34 goals and 42 assists for 76 points and 99 penalty minutes.
