The Wolf Pack split two games this past week, winning on home ice Friday night, 6-4 in GEICO Connecticut Cup action vs. Bridgeport, and falling 5-3 at Portland Sunday. Alexandre Giroux was the Pack's top performer during the week, with a hat trick in Friday's game and a goal and an assist Sunday. Jeff Taffe chipped in with four points, one goal and three assists, in the two games.

This week:

The Wolf Pack entertain Albany in a Thanksgiving Eve matchup at the Hartford Civic Center Wednesday (7:00). They then travel to Manchester Friday (7:35), and return home Saturday to take on Providence (7:00). That is the next Ken Gernander tribute night, and the first 5,000 fans into the game will receive a Ken Gernander bobblehead.

Tuesday, November 22 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410 The Wolf Pack's weekly hourlong live radio show originates live from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon, from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Scheduled to join host Bob Crawford this week are Martin Grenier and Craig Weller. They will be taking questions from the live audience at Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

Wednesday, November 23 vs. Albany at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Wolf Pack are 1-0-0 in the season series vs. the River Rats. The Pack took a 2-1 decision in Albany November 4th, despite being outshot 47-30.

The Rats are 5-11-0-1 on the year for 11 points, tied with Providence for sixth place in the Atlantic Division.

Albany's leading point and goal-scorer is Aleksander Suglobov, who has chalked up 8-7-15 in 15 GP.

Selected Wolf Pack players will be conducting a free postgame autograph session in Center Court of the Civic Center Mall.

Friday, November 25 at Manchester (Verizon Wireless Arena), 7:35 p.m.

The Wolf Pack have gained three out of a possible four points in their first two games vs. the Monarchs, amassing a win and a shootout loss.

Since losing their first two games of the season, the Monarchs have lost only once in regulation in 13 outings (10-1-0-2). At 10-3-0-2 for 22 points, Manchester trails first-place Portland by four points in the Atlantic Division.

Former Wolf Pack Brad Smyth leads the Monarchs in scoring, with 7-13-20 in 15 GP, and is a +12 on the year.

Saturday, November 26 vs. Providence at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Pack are 2-0-0-0 vs. the P-Bruins, courtesy of a pair of one-goal wins.

Providence has played the fewest games in the Eastern Conference (13), and is 5-7-1-0 for 11 points.

Eric Healey has been the offensive pacesetter for the Bruins, totaling 7-10-17 in 13 GP.

The first 5,000 fans through the doors for this game receive their own Ken Gernander bobblehead.

On January 6th the Wolf Pack will honor Ron Francis, Kevin Dineen and Pack assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson in a ceremony to celebrate their careers and the significant impact and influence that all three individuals had upon the sport of hockey in Hartford. ALL are scheduled to appear in the pre-game festivity. The Pack go up against Dineen's Portland Pirates that night in a 7:00 game.
