
Bulldogs looking to snap losing streak

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (7-10-0-1) will look to rebound from three consecutive losses as they play four games in five nights this week. The Bulldogs will face the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights for the second time in less than a week on Tuesday, November 22 (8:00 p.m.) before battling the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday, November 23 (8:00 p.m.) for the first time this season. Hamilton will then return home to take on the Cleveland Barons on Friday, November 25 (7:30 p.m.) before visiting Grand Rapids to face the Griffins on Saturday, November 26 (8:00 p.m.).

Player Notes
G Cristobal Huet played in his first game with the Bulldogs on Wednesday, November 16 at Milwaukee (3-1 L), stopping 38 of the 40 shots he faced. Huet was named the game's third star.
C Garth Murray scored his first goal of the season on Nov. 16. The goal was Murray's first point with the Bulldogs.
LW Jean-Francois Jacques scored his eighth goal of the season on November 18 at Omaha (3-1 L) and now leads the Bulldogs with 14 points (8g, 6a).
C Francis Lemieux has six points in his last seven games (1g, 5a).

This game is the second meeting between Hamilton and Omaha (7-8-0-3) in five days.
The Knights won the first game by a score of 3-1 on November 18 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
Jean-Francois Jacques scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season for Hamilton.
Carsen Germyn scored twice against Hamilton and leads Omaha in scoring with 15 points (10g, 5a).
The Knights are in third place in the West Division with 17 points.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23 - HAMILTON BULLDOGS @ CHICAGO WOLVES - 8:00 P.M. - ALLSTATE ARENA
This is the first of two games this season between Hamilton and Chicago (5-6-1-2).
Chicago won the season series in 2004-05, earning two wins, one loss, and one overtime loss.
The Wolves are in fifth place in the West Division with 13 points.
Ramzi Abid leads Chicago in scoring with 15 points (7g, 8a) in 14 games.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25 - CLEVELAND BARONS @ HAMILTON BULLDOGS - 7:30 P.M. - COPPS COLISEUM
The Barons (7-9-1-0) will be in Hamilton for the third time this season.
Hamilton and Cleveland have split the season series so far, with each team winning one game.
The Bulldogs won the last meeting between these two teams by a score of 5-1 on November 11 at Copps Coliseum.
Hamilton and Cleveland are tied for sixth place in the North Division with 15 points.
Grant Stevenson leads the Barons in scoring with 16 points (8g, 8a) in 17 games.
Hamilton forward Corey Locke has three goals in two games against Cleveland this season.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26 - HAMILTON BULLDOGS @ GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS - 8:00 P.M. - VAN ANDEL ARENA
Hamilton will make their first visit of the season to Grand Rapids (13-3-0-1).
The Griffins lead the season series, posting a record of 2-1-0-0.
The Bulldogs having won the last meeting by a score of 5-2 on November 12.
Grand Rapids leads the North Division with 27 points.
Jiri Hudler ranks third in the AHL in scoring and leads Grand Rapids with 28 points (14g, 14a) in 16 games.
ALUMNI WATCH
There are many former Bulldogs currently playing for NHL teams. Here are a few highlights of the accomplishments of ex-Dogs this past week.
Montreal Canadiens C Tomas Plekanec scored his second goal of the season, and added an assist on Friday, November 18 in Montreal's 5-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils.
G Yann Danis won his third consecutive NHL game, stopping 27 of 30 shots, in a 4-3 overtime victory over Florida on Tuesday, November 15.
Edmonton Oilers C Shawn Horcoff recorded four assists, all in the third period, in the Oilers 5-4 win against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday, November 17. Horcoff added two more assists on Saturday, November 19 in Edmonton's 4-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks and leads the Oilers in scoring with 23 points (4g, 19a).
Edmonton C Jarret Stoll scored the game winner 33 seconds into overtime on Nov. 17.
Former Bulldogs D Alexei Semenov was acquired by the Florida Panthers from the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, November 19 in exchange for a conditional draft choice.
