Thrashers return Berkhoel to Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender ADAM BERKHOEL (BUHRK-uhl) to the Chicago Wolves. In addition, the Wolves have released goaltender MICHEL ROBINSON (MICH-elle).

BERKHOEL, who made his National Hockey League debut this season, ranks second on the Thrashers with two wins, a 4.08 goals-against average and a .876 save percentage in eight appearances. The 24-year-old netminder has posted a 2-4-0 mark in Atlanta, which includes registering 32 saves on 35 shots to record his first NHL win on Oct. 22 against the New Jersey Devils.

The St. Paul, Minn., native has recorded a 1-2-0 mark with a 3.02 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage in three games with the Wolves this year.

ROBINSON did not see any action in two games with the Wolves after being signed on Nov. 18.
