BREAKING NEWS: The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled left wing Chris Kunitz and goaltender Michael Wall from the Portland Pirates. In addition, the Ducks have reassigned center Ryan Getzlaf and right wing Corey Perry to Portland.
Last night, Pirates rookie goaltender Nathan Marsters made a career-high 41 saves to pace the Pirates to a 5-3 win against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
On Sunday, during the second intermission Megan Valente from Wells, ME was a winner of the Olympia Sports Kids Score-o contest. Her prize includes 3 or 4 night Caribbean Cruise for three courtesy of Hurley Travel Experts.
The new Portland Pirates Hall of Fame Display, presented by UnumProvident and made possible by Getetched.com is now on display in the Penalty Box Grill, located in the main lobby of the Cumberland County Civic Center.

IN THE COMMUNITY
Tonight Ryan Shannon and Tim Brent will be hosting trivia from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Bleachers Sports Pub on 118 Prebble Street in Portland.
On Wednesday, November 30th, Pirates players will present the "Goals for Success" program at Fort James School in Biddeford, ME from 1:15 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

Kent Huskins, Igor Pohanka, Shane O'Brien and Bruno St. Jacques all scored their first goals of the season.
Saturday, November 19th vs. Providence (4-3 W)
Curtis Glencross scored the game-winning goal just 22 seconds into overtime.
Sunday, November 20th vs. Hartford (5-3 W)
Zenon Konopka scored two goals in the victory.
