
Wolf Pack Sign Defenseman Sean Escobedo to PTO

HARTFORD, February 22, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed defenseman Sean Escobedo to a Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.
Escobedo, a 6-1, 204-pound second-year pro out of Boston University, has skated in 44 games this year with the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors, scoring three goals and adding 12 assists for 15 points and logging 32 penalty minutes. The 24-year-old Bayside, NY native is also a +16, good for second-best among Road Warrior defensemen and third-best on the team.
Last season Escobedo played in one AHL game with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, posting two PIM, and had 6-9-15 with 57 PIM in 50 ECHL games with the Stockton Thunder. Prior to turning pro, he was a four-year regular at Boston University (Hockey East), registering six goals and 27 assists for 33 points, along with 208 PIM, in 154 career games.
The Wolf Pack are in home ice action today the XL Center Sunday, hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 3:00 PM game. The Wolf Pack's "Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack" is again featured on Sundays this year. The Family Value Pack includes two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for only $35.
