American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Brett Gallant has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game at Hershey on Feb. 22.
Gallant received an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his third game misconduct in the "general" category this season.
Gallant will miss Bridgeport's game today (Feb. 22) vs. Norfolk.
In addition, Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Scott Mayfield and Hershey Bears left wing Liam O'Brien have been suspended pending the league's investigation into their actions in the same game.
