The Tri-City Americans have climbed up the U.S. Division standings recently and beat the Spokane Chiefs 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday. Sunday begins the first of two straight games against the Americans at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Tri-City has won all four head-t0-head meetings this season, winning one in a shootout and three in overtime. Nine different Americans have scored against the Winterhawks with Nolan Yaremko and Riley Sawchuk leading the way with three goals apiece.

Parker AuCoin scored the lone goal last night for Tri-City and he enters tonight's match-up in Portland on a five game scoring streak.
After missing a handful of games in December for World Juniors, rookie Krystof Hrabik returns to the lineup to face the Winterhawks. He has a goal and an assist in his lone meeting against the Winterhawks this year and is on a current three game point streak. WHL Top Prospect player Sasha Mutala looks to continue his hot play against the Hawks.
