
Wildcatters take rubber game 3-2 over Sea Wolves

BILOXI, MS - The Texas Wildcatters defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves (9-17-1-1) at Ford Arena in Beaumont, Texas on Saturday night in the third game between the two teams.
Texas got on the board first when Cleve Kinley took a drop pass from Moises Gutierrez and put it into the top of the net pas Sea Wolves goaltender Morgan Cey at the 16:35 mark of the first period.
The Wildcatters took a 2-0 lead on John McNabb's rebound goal at 8:34 of the second period. The Sea Wolves drew within one when Ryan Menei picked the top corner of the net to beat Texas goaltendr Anton Khudobin on the power play at 11:59.
Texas regained a two-goal lead early in the third period when Mark Fulton found the back of the Sea Wolves net at 3:20. Mark Hurtubise drilled the puck through Khudobin's legs at 6:10 to draw Mississippi within one, but the Sea Wolves were unable to find the equalizer as Texas held on for the 3-2 win.
Morgan Cey made 39 saves to take the loss, and the Sea Wolves were 1-for-4 on the power play.
