Tonight's Matchup: The Brandon Wheat Kings return to the Brandt Centre for the second time this season. The last trip to the Queen City saw a 4-2 Wheat Kings win, on the heels of a 39 save performance from Carson Bjarnason, his first career WHL victory.

Last Time Out: 5-3 L vs Prince Red Deer Rebels: The Wheat Kings dropped a 5-3 decision on home ice last night to the Red Deer Rebels. Marcus Kallionkieli (1G-1A) and Rylen Roersma (2G) each had two-point nights but it wasn't enough. The loss is the second in a row for Brandon.

Finnish Flash: Marcus Kallionkieli's third period marker was his first as a Wheat King, since December 13th, 2019 vs Moose Jaw. The Vegas Golden Knights prospect finished the night with a goal and an assist, the third multi-point night of his career.

Double Barrell: Rylen Roersma recorded the first multi-goal game of his career last night. The Lethbridge, AB native now sits tied for second in team scoring (6G-5A). Last season, in 17 games in the Hub, Roersma scored just one goal.

Get Cozy: The Wheat Kings play seven games at Westoba Place in the month of November, including a six game home stand from Nov 11th-27th, the longest of the season.

Call Up: 2020 third round pick (#57) Teydon Trembecky has been recalled for tonight's game. His NAX U18 team is currently playing in a tournament in Notre Dame. Trembecky has skated in four career WHL games with the Wheat Kings, recording three shots on goal and a -2 rating.
