The West Virginia Power broke a 4-4 tie with three runs in the sixth inning and went on to a 10-6 win over the Lexington Legends Friday night in Charleston. Every Power batter had at least one hit in the game, as each team collected 13 hits.

The Legends took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. DonAndre Clark led off with an infield hit, moved to second on a walk to Luis Valenzuela and scored on a single by Corey Toups. A two-out single by Brandon Downes scored Valenzuela with the second run.

The Power responded with a run in the bottom of the first, but the Legends extended their lead to 4-1 in the third when Wander Franco singled and Downes homered.

West Virginia also scored two runs in the third. Trace Tam Sing drew a leadoff walk, stole second and stayed at second as Pablo Reyes got an infield hit. Jordan Luplow singled to center, but Downes threw Tam Sing out at the plate as Reyes went to third and Luplow to second on the throw home. Michael Suchy singled, scoring Reyes, and a wild pitch allowed Luplow to score.

The Power tied the game at 4-4 with a run in the fifth. With one out, Reyes walked, moved to second on a wild pitch and to third on a ground out. Suchy's double brought home the tying run.

Jerrick Suiter led off the bottom of the sixth with an infield hit and moved to second on a one-out single by Chase Simpson. A wild pitch allowed the runners to move to second and third, and both scored on Tam Sing's two-out double. Cole Tucker followed with another double, scoring Tam Sing, and West Virginia led 7-4.

Toups led off the seventh with a homer for Lexington, and Michael Hill hit a solo homer in the eighth to cut the lead to one at 7-6, but the Power answered with three runs in the bottom of the eighth on run-scoring hits by Taylor Gushue, Tucker and Reyes for the final margin.
