Bryce Salvador Headlines 10th Annual Celebrity Dinner: The Hurricanes announced that former Lethbridge Hurricane and 14-year NHL veteran Bryce Salvador will be the special guest at the 10th Annual Celebrity Dinner and Auction on Friday, January 22nd at the Coast Hotel in Lethbridge. Tickets are on sale now for $125.00 per person and $1,000.00 for a table of 10. Reserve you tickets by calling the Hurricanes Office (403) 328-1986. Salvador played for the Hurricanes from 1992 to 1997. The 'Canes will also hold "Bryce Salvador Night" on Saturday, January 23rd when the 'Canes face the Warriors.
Hockey - It's In Our Blood: The Hurricanes are once against taking on the Red Deer Rebels in the Hockey - It's In Our Blood Challenge. The two teams have partnered with Canadian Blood Services in a Blood Battle to save lives. We're asking YOU to get into the game and give blood. Every minute of every day someone in Canada needs blood! Book an appointment this month and help everybody win!

Tickets are available by calling (403) 329-7328 or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or the Ticket Centre at the Yates Theatre. Also, a reminder to use all three entrances to the arena - the third is located on SW corner by Section SS.

Sunday, December 27th - 5-4 OT Win at Medicine Hat: After eight days off, the Hurricanes returned from the Christmas break with a 5-4 overtime win in Medicine Hat in the first of a home-and-home. Ryley Lindgren scored his second OT winner of the year in the victory.
Tuesday, December 29th - 5-2 Win vs. Medicine Hat: The Hurricanes played their first home game in 24 days in front of over 4,700 fans at the ENMAX Centre and picked up a 5-2 win over the Tigers. Tyler Wong scored twice in the victory while Kord Pankewicz, Giorgio Estephan and Arvin Atwal added one.
Wednesday, December 30th - 6-4 Loss at Calgary: The Hurricanes played their final game of 2015 and stomached a tough 6-4 loss at the Saddledome to snap a six game winning streak. Penalty troubles by the Hurricanes resulted in three power play goals for the Hitmen in the victory.
Saturday, January 2nd- 4-3 Win vs. Calgary: The Hurricanes kicked off the New Year with a nail-biting 4- 3 win over the Hitmen at the ENMAX Centre in front of 4,600 fans. Giorgio Estephan scored in his fifth straight game while Stuart Skinner made 30 saves to improve to 15-6-0-0.
THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE
Wednesday, January 6th - 7:00pm vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes play a mid-week game at the ENMAX Centre as they welcome the Jake DeBrusk-less Swift Current Broncos for the second and final time. The 'Canes have won both games against Swift Current this season, the latest a 3-2 overtime win on October 23rd at home.
Friday, January 8th - 7:00pm @ Red Deer Rebels: The Hurricanes head to Red Deer to face the new-look Rebels for the fourth time this season. The 'Canes are 3-0-0-0 against Red Deer this season outscoring them 16-5 in the process. The 'Canes earned a 6-1 win in Red Deer on December 19th .
Saturday, January 9th - 7:00pm vs. Kootenay Ice: The Hurricanes kick off a five-game home stand on Saturday when they welcome the Kootenay Ice. The 'Canes are 4-0-0-0 against the Ice this season outscoring Kootenay 20-5. The 'Canes beat the Ice 9-0 the last time they met at the ENMAX Centre.
NEWS & NOTES
Top in The East: After their 4-3 win on Saturday against the Calgary Hitmen, the Lethbridge Hurricanes remained atop the Eastern Conference with a record of 27-12-0-0 and 54 points. The 'Canes, however, are just two points better than the Calgary Hitmen, Red Deer Rebels and Brandon Wheat Kings who all have 52 points and just four points better than the Prince Albert Raiders who have 50 points.
2015 Success: The Hurricanes wrapped up the calendar year of 2015 with a 6-4 loss in Calgary to the Hitmen at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Despite that year-end loss, the 'Canes posted an above fivehundred record in 2015 collecting a record of 37-33-2-1 in 73 games. The 'Canes were 20-14-1-1 at the ENMAX Centre.
