Blazers' Ingram Named Vaughn WHL Goaltender of the Month

Calgary, AB - The Western Hockey League announced today that Connor Ingram of the Kamloops Blazers has been named the Vaughn WHL Goaltender of the Month for December 2015.

An 18-year-old from Imperial, SK, Ingram posted a record of 6-3-0-1 over 10 appearances in December. He recorded a 2.09 goals against average and a .937 save percentage to go along with one shutout. In seven of the games he started, Ingram held the opposition to two goals or fewer.

Ingram's terrific play has guided the Blazers to a Wild Card position in the Western Conference standings. The 6'1", 195 lb netminder claimed four first star honours, two second star mentions and a third star nod in December. Ingram was also named a nominee for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending December 13th, 2015.

Ingram is in his second WHL campaign with the Kamloops Blazers and has posted a 37-30-6-4 record with four shutouts in 84 career regular season contests.

These accomplishments make Connor Ingram a deserving choice as the Vaughn WHL Goaltender of the Month for December.
