Verveda Joins Blazers for the Week

Kamloops Blazers News Release
Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have added 18-year-old defenseman Travis Verveda from the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Verveda will be with the Blazers for their next four games. In 22 games this season with the Oilers, Verveda has five assists.
The Blazers will return 15-year-olds Luke Zazula and Brodi Stuart to the Delta Hockey Academy Midget Prep team on Wednesday, January 6th. Zazula played three games with the Blazers and recorded one assist.
Defenseman Patrik Maier will return to the Blazers on Monday, January 11th. The 19-year-old from Slovakia has been with Team Slovakia for the World Junior Hockey Championships in Finland.
