
T-Birds Acquire Cavin Leth from Swift Current

KENT - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has acquired center Cavin Leth from the Swift Current Broncos defenseman Sahvan Khaira.
"Leth is a hard working dynamic forward who can play all three forward positions and is a great addition for us heading into the playoffs this year," said Farwell. "This move also presents a good opportunity for Sahvan to step in a play a major role in the WHL and we wish him all the best."
Leth has six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 39 games this season. In three seasons with the Broncos Leth has 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists in 159 games.
Khaira is in his second season with the T-Birds and has four assists in 34 games. He has played in 77 career games as a T-Bird and has one goal and six assists for seven points.
The T-Birds play the Portland Winterhawks on Friday at 7:35pm at ShoWare Center. They host the Everett Silvertips on Saturday at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2015-16 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm Saturday game days at 10 am and Sunday game days at noon.
T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
