Warriors Head to Saskatoon for Sunday Tilt

Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
The Moose Jaw Warriors are hitting the road into the Bridge City for arguably their biggest game of the season so far.
After a dominating 7-0 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Friday night, the Warriors are getting back to work for a key late season game against the Blades in Saskatoon.
"We've had some tough nights in that building and against that team," Warriors head coach Mark O'Leary said.
The Warriors are 1-3-1-0 this season against the Blades with their only win coming on the opening night of regular season.
Four of those five games were played in October and the two sides haven't met since Saskatoon won 5-4 in overtime at Mosaic Place on Dec. 14.
"That taste is still in our mouth and we're a better team now than we were then, so we're looking forward to it," O'Leary said.
The Warriors have won 18 of 24 games since the last time the two teams met, which has moved them six points ahead of the Blades for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Saskatoon has three games in hand.
Warriors captain Daemon Hunt said the team is playing more as a team since their last game against the Blades.
"We're winning games because we're playing as a five-man unit," he said. "Early on in the season, we were losing some games where we were having some turnovers, those little details and we weren't playing as a five-man unit.
"We've just developed structure wise and I'm really proud of how far we've come."
The Warriors have won three straight heading into Sunday's afternoon tilt, while the Blades are coming off a 5-2 win in Brandon on Friday.
O'Leary said the Warriors need to start fast at SaskTel Centre.
"Just playing Warrior hockey right from the get-go," he said. "We want to be a fast-starting team and we'll get to that in a hurry and if we do that, we'll have the puck more often than not and we can let our skill take over from there."
The Warriors and Blades face-off at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Catch all the action live on Country 100, starting with the Pre-Game Show at 3:40 p.m.
