Voynov to Represent Team Russia in Sochi

LOS ANGELES, CA - Former Manchester Monarchs and current Los Angeles Kings defenseman Slava Voynov is a part of the 2014 Russian Olympic Men's Hockey Roster which was unveiled this morning.

The following is a look at Voynov's international experience to date:

International Play: Played for Team Russia at the following tournaments: World Junior Championships (2009, 7 GP, 1-34, alternate captain, bronze medal), (2008, 7 GP, 0-11, bronze medal), (2007, GP, 1-45, silver medal)...World U18 Championships (2008, 6 GP, 1-45, silver medal), (2007, 7 GP, 1-35, gold medal).

Last week, two more former Monarchs, Kings captain/forward Dustin Brown and goaltender Jonathan Quick, were named to the 2014 U.S. Olympic Men's Hockey Roster and yesterday it was made official that Anze Kopitar would represent his native Slovenia.
