Weekly Rewind
Wed., Dec. 31- PENGUINS 5 vs. Syracuse 2
Jeff Deslauriers stopped all 21 shots he faced in relief and Tom Kostopoulos and Nick Drazenovic scored 1:44 apart in the second period as WBS rallied for a 5-2 win over Syracuse.
Fri., Jan. 3 - Penguins 2 at HARTFORD 1 (SO)
Harry Zolnierczyk tied the score with 3:59 left in regulation to force a shootout, where Jeff Deslaurier stopped 6-of-7. Paul Thompson netted the GWG for the Penguins in round seven.
Sat., Jan. 4 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Manchester 4
Nick Deslauriers scored the decisive tally for Manchester with 5:55 left in the contest in a 4-2 win over the Penguins. Tom Kuhnhackl and Nick Drazenovic collected goals for WBS.
Sun., Jan. 5 - PENGUINS 4 vs. Binghamton 1
Barry Goers and Zack Torquato each recorded a goal and an assist as the Penguins defeated the first-place Senators, 4-1. Eric Harzell made 23 saves for his first win since Dec. 14.
The Week Ahead
Wed., Jan. 8- PENGUINS vs. Syracuse
WBS is now is now 4-0-0-1 versus Syracuse this season. Jeff Deslauiers has made all five starts and posted a 2.06 GAA.
Fri., Jan. 10 - Penguins at ADIRONDACK
The Phantoms have won four straight as goalie Cal Heeter was named CCM/AHL Player of the Week, making 86 out of 87 saves to go 3-0-0 with back-to-back shutouts.
Sat., Jan. 11 - PENGUINS vs. Hartford
The Pens and Wolf Pack conclude their two-game season series. Hartford has won just twice in its last 14 contests.
Sun., Jan. 5 - PENGUINS vs. Binghamton
The Senators have won four in a row to take over the top spot in the division (18-9-0-3). Mike Hoffman is tied for second in the AHL with 33 points (18g-15a).

- On Sunday versus Binghamton Barry Goers netted his first AHL goal while also recording his second multi-point game (1g-1a) of the season for the Penguins
- Harry Zolnierczyk has posted points (1g-4a) in all four games for W-B/Scranton since returning from Pittsburgh on Dec. 30.
- Jeff Deslauriers ranks fifth in the league in GAA (2.18) and is tied for fourth in wins (14).
- The Penguins have a record of 11-2-1-3 against East Division opponents.
- W-B/Scranton is tied with the Abbotsfort Heat for the most goals scored in the third period this season (46).
