Vipers Acquire Gordon in 2022 G League Draft

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Houston Rockets, selected guard Eron Gordon with the 56th overall pick in the 2022 NBA G League Draft.
Gordon (6-3, 200lbs.) most recently played in two games with the Vipers NBA affiliate, the Houston Rockets, in the 2022 NBA Summer League.
Before declaring for the 2022 NBA Draft, the guard spent his junior and senior seasons with the NCAA Valparaiso Beacons of the Missouri Valley Conference where he totaled 474 points, 322 rebounds, 100 assists and 64 steals in 95 games.
Prior to his time with the Beacons, the Indiana native spent his freshman and sophomore years of college with the Seton Hall Pirates of the Big East Conference. With the Pirates he totaled 69 points, 39 rebounds and 29 assists within 48 games.
On Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. the Vipers will play its first home game of the season against the Birmingham Squadron at the Bert Ogden Arena. The night will consist of a ring ceremony for the reigning NBA G League Champions. Fans in attendance will receive a championship replica ring, while supplies last.
