Stockton, Calif. - Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, selected Seth Allen, Austin Trice, and Isaac Johnson in the 2022 NBA G League Draft.
Allen, a 6-1 guard, joins the Kings after averaging 13.3 points (48.9 FG%, 38.5 3PT%, 78.1 FT%), 2.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 20.9 minutes per game in 14 games (six starts) during the 2021-22 campaign for Finnish Korisliiga.
A 6-7 forward, Trice averaged 13.1 points (54.2 FG%, 51.2 FT%), 9.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 25.9 minutes per game in 32 games (18 starts) during his senior season at Old Dominion (2021-22). Trice was one of two players to average a double-double in Conference USA games and finished first in the league in field goal percentage and second in rebounding.
Johnson, a 6-9 forward, averaged 13.2 points (50.4 FG%, 21.4 3PT%, 63.2 FT%), 7.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 29.6 minutes per game in 13 games (12 starts) in his last season with the International League for Portuguese LPB.
Prior to joining the International League, Johnson competed for Appalachian State. Johnson saw action in 124 games (98 starts) in four seasons (2016-20). Over the course of his career, Johnson became one of four players in program history to score 1,000 points (1,088) while also pulling down at least 900 rebounds (977). His 900 rebounds ranked third in program history and his 135 steals sits seventh all-time.
