Greensboro Swarm Add Two in the 2022-23 Draft

Greensboro Swarm News Release
The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today the selection of two players in the 2022 NBA G League Draft. With one first-round pick, Greensboro selected Aaron Wheeler (No. 3 overall) and selected Tyson Jolly at No. 32 in the second round.
Wheeler, 24, was most recently a member of the St. John's University. During the 2021-22 season, he started in 16 of his 31 appearances and averaged 10.0 points on 48.1 percent shooting and 4.7 rebounds. Prior to joining the Red Storm, Wheeler spent three seasons with the Purdue Boilermakers. As a Boilermaker, he played in 95 games and totaled 390 points.
Jolly, 25, spent time with Baylor, Trinity Valley Community College, and SMU prior to joining Iona's roster ahead of the 2021-22 season. During his graduate season at Iona, he was the only unanimous selection to the All-MAAC First Team. Jolly finished the regular season and averaged 14.5 points per game, tying him for sixth in the conference for scoring. The Oklahoma native, is the first conference Player of the Year from Iona since the 2014-15 season.
