
Santa Cruz Warriors Select Jayce Johnson and Jack Nolan in the 2022 NBA G League Draft

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors selected Jayce Johnson (Marquette) and Jack Nolan (Washington University in St. Louis) in the 2022 NBA G League draft.
Johnson (7'0'', 245) started his collegiate career at the University of Utah (2016-19) before transferring to Marquette (2019-20) for his final collegiate season. During his senior year, Johnson appeared in 27 games averaging 3.8 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 62.9 percent from the field. During the 2021-22 season Johnson appeared in 45 games in Japan averaging 16.6 points in 29.8 minutes per game.
Nolan (6'1'', 170) appeared in 101 games (76 starts) for Washington University (2017-20, 2021-22), averaging 16.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 30.1 minutes per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 41.2 behind the arc. During his senior year, Nolan averaged 21.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 23 games.
The 2022-23 Santa Cruz Warriors will be led by second year head coach Seth Cooper and will open the regular season at Kaiser Permanente Arena, home of the Santa Cruz Warriors, on November 4 against the Ontario Clippers at 7 p.m. PT. All fans in attendance will receive an Opening Night T-shirt, presented by Kaiser Permanente.
