
Vienna Beef Named Official Hot Dog of the IceHogs, MetroCentre

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford MetroCentre, Rockford IceHogs and Chicago-based Vienna Beef announced on Friday that Vienna Beef has been named the official hot dog of the Rockford MetroCentre and the IceHogs, members of the American Hockey League.
Every concession stand at the MetroCentre will now feature Vienna Beef hot dogs beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 9 when the IceHogs take on the Peoria Rivermen at 6:35 p.m.
"Vienna Beef is thrilled to be the Official Hot Dog of the Rockford MetroCentre and IceHogs," said Vienna Beef Vice President of Marketing Keith Smith. "We are looking forward to a long standing relationship with the venue and the people of Rockford. Now the next generation of hockey greats will be feasting on the same hot dog served at the United Center to Chicago's Stanley Cup Champions."
In addition, Vienna Beef will sponsor the "Vienna Beef Ice Box ", a one-of-a-kind experience located ice level, next to the IceHogs bench, which includes six tickets along with complimentary hot dogs and soft drinks for $240. Other Vienna Beef branding throughout the MetroCentre includes the renaming of the "Top Dog" concession stand located in the upper concourse and the display of Vienna Beef neon signs at other concession stands in the building.
Vienna Beef will also be the featured hot dog for the IceHogs "Taco Bell Dollar Days" promotion on Wednesday. All hot dogs are $1 on Dollar Days.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Nov. 6 vs. Manitoba Moose. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs baseball cap courtesy of Pepsi, WXRX and WIFR.
