
Blackhawks Recall Morin

Chicago, Ill.-The Chicago Blackhawks announced on Friday that the National Hockey League club has recalled forward Jeremy Morin from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Morin, 19, earns his first career NHL recall. The Auburn, New York native has skated in eight games with Rockford in 2010-11 and has tallied three goals and one assist.
Morin, Atlanta's second round selection (#45 overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, was acquired in a trade from Atlanta on June 24, 2010 along with a 1st and 2nd round pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Marty Reasoner and Joey Crabb in exchange for Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Sopel, Ben Eager and Akim Aliu.
Chicago takes on the Atlanta Thrashers tomorrow night at the Phillips Arena at 6 p.m.
Morin is the sixth player to get recalled from Rockford to Chicago this season joining Brandon Pirri, Jassen Cullimore, Evan Brophey, Ben Smith and Ryan Potulny. Rockford has had 29 different players recalled to the Blackhawks over the past four seasons.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Nov. 6 vs. Manitoba Moose. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs baseball cap courtesy of Pepsi, WXRX and WIFR.
