Vancouver Agrees to Buy Peoria Franchise from St. Louis

Peoria Rivermen News Release
The St. Louis Blues announced today that the Vancouver Canucks have agreed to buy the Peoria Rivermen, the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) franchise. The transaction is subject to approval by the AHL.
Out of respect for the AHL's approval process, the Canucks and Blues are unable to provide further details at this time.
