Hamilton Bulldogs Announce Partnership with Front Row Marketing
April 1, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz announced today a new partnership with Front Row Marketing Services, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing sports and entertainment marketing firms. Front Row Marketing Services will be responsible for securing corporate partnerships and managing premium seating sales for the team. Front Row is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based Comcast-Spectacor that specializes in selling and evaluating commercial sponsorships as well as securing naming rights related inventory.
"The Hamilton Bulldogs are very pleased to join forces with Front Row Marketing Services," stated Hamilton Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz. "Front Row has a considerable amount of experience working with other American Hockey League franchises on their corporate partnership sales initiatives and I believe that they will bring several best practices to our business operation. I am confident that through this relationship we will generate many new and innovative ideas on how to improve the in-game experience for our corporate partners and our fans through new opportunities for in-arena activation, premium seating and promotional activities."
"This is an incredibly exciting venture for Front Row," said Liam Weseloh, Regional Vice President for Front Row Marketing Services, who oversees the operations for FRMS in Canada. "The Bulldogs franchise has been a cornerstone of the Hamilton community for many years and the product on the ice has been second to none. We look forward to matching that success off the ice within the business community by forming mutually beneficial partnerships that will help bring additional exposure to our corporate family."
Earlier this month the Hamilton Bulldogs announced a three-year agreement with Global Spectrum to remain the primary tenant at Copps Coliseum and a three-year extension to their affiliation agreement with the Montreal Canadiens. "This is an exciting day for the Bulldogs, the Canadiens and the City of Hamilton," stated Hamilton Bulldogs Owner and Chairman Michael Andlauer at the time of the announcement.
Copps Coliseum is one of North America's premier entertainment venues, housing a variety of spectacular concert and sporting events each year. In addition to serving as home ice to the Hamilton Bulldogs, the arena has been the site of many great moments in hockey, having hosted the 1986 International Ice Hockey Federation's World Under-20 Championship, the 1987 and 1991 Canada Cups and the Canadian Hockey League's 1990 Memorial Cup Tournament.
The Hamilton Bulldogs have served as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens since the 2002-2003 season. During their 11 seasons as the Canadiens' affiliate, the Bulldogs have been one of the AHL's most successful teams on the ice, competing in four conference finals (2003, 2007, 2010 and 2011) and two Calder Cup Finals (2003 and 2007), capturing the City of Hamilton's first professional hockey championship in 2007. During the team's 17 seasons in Hamilton, almost 200 Bulldogs players have gone on to play in the NHL.
