Blackhawks Reassign Bollig to Rockford

Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Brandon Bollig to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Bollig, 26, has appeared in 17 games with the Blackhawks this season, recording 47 penalty minutes. The St. Charles, Mo., native has earned 105 penalty minutes in 35 career regular-season games with the Blackhawks and scored one goal in four Stanley Cup playoff games during the 2011-12 postseason.

In 35 games with the IceHogs this season, Bollig has registered a career-high five goals to along with nine points overall and 157 penalty minutes.

Next Home Game: Tuesday, April 2 vs. Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m. for Misery Never Thrilled So Many Fans Night!
