Forward Louie Caporusso Reassigned to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that forward Louie Caporusso has been reassigned by the club's National Hockey League affiliate Ottawa Senators from Binghamton to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Caporusso, 23, was reassigned to Binghamton for the second time this season on Feb. 14. He has appeared in 23 games for the B-Sens this season, recording six points on one goal and five assists.

The 5-10, 190-pound forward has skated in 41 regular season games for the Jackals this season scoring 19 goals and adding 26 assists.

The Jackals see action again on Friday, April 5 as they visit the Florida Everblades for Game 1 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series of the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The B-Sens also see action on Friday, April 5 as they travel to Norfolk to face the Admirals for the first of back-to-back road games against the East Division foe. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
