HIT THE ROAD, JACK
The Wolves open April with a season-high six-game road trip that begins in San Antonio on Tuesday; Chicago, which is winless in its last four road tilts (0-3-1-0), has amassed a 13-14-3-0 mark on enemy ice this year.

--- BRETT STERLING: Amassed 5 points (3G, 2A) in three games last week, which included the sixth hat trick of his AHL career on March 29 ...
Accumulated 5 goals and 7 points in five games since returning to the Wolves lineup on March 22 after a 23-game absence ... Ranks first on Chicago with 20 markers and second with 35 points in 37 tilts this season ... Paces the team with a +15 plus/minus rating and has notched a plus or even rating in 13 straight contests
--- DARREN HAYDAR: Paced the team with 4 assists and 6 points in three games last week, which included a season-high 3 helpers on March 29 ...
With his two-point (G, A) performance on March 30, he moved into a tie for 10th all-time on the AHL assist register with 492 helpers and into a tie for 15th on the all-time point register with 783 points in 769 career contests ... Ranks second on Chicago with 19 markers and leads the club with 33 assists and 52 points in 60 games this season
--- ERIC KATTELUS: Posted an assist in all three games last week to extend his point streak to four games (4A) ... Registered 8 assists, 10 points, and a +9 plus/minus rating in 28 contests during his AHL debut since being signed by Chicago on Jan. 8 ... Tallied 13 goals, 19 assists, and 32 points in 34 games with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings before joining the Wolves
--- MICHAEL DAVIES: Opened scoring for the fourth time this season and added an assist on March 29 ... Ranks third on Chicago with a career-high 14 goals and holds sixth on the squad with 22 points in 47 games this season; he is one point shy from tying his career-high 23 points, which he earned during the 2011-12 campaign
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves posted a 6-7-1-1 mark during the month of March to slip to ninth place in the Western Conference playoff standings; Chicago's 73 points through 65 tilts (32-24-5-4) are one point back of the eighth and final playoff spot; the team's 65 games are tied for the fewest-played in the AHL and it holds at least two games in hand on nine of the other 14 teams in the Western Conference.
--- Chicago will play 11 times over the final 21 days of the regular season, which includes a pair of three-games-in-three-days sets on April 5-7 and April 19-21.
--- The Wolves have posted an 8-4-0-1 mark and .654 winning percentage against the South Division this season; Chicago plays four games this week with all of its opponents members of the South Division.
--- Defensemen MARK MATHESON and KEVIN CONNAUTON potted tallies on March 30, the first time since Jan. 6 that two Chicago blueliners scored in the same game; the 23-year-old CONNAUTON and the 29-year-old MATHESON have accounted for 13 of the Wolves 26 goals that have come from the back end this year.
TIME TO POWER UP
--- The Wolves bagged just nine power-play goals on 61 chances during the month of March; Chicago, which has posted five man-advantage markers in its last five road tilts, shares 13th in the league with a 17.2 conversion rate on the power play this year (44 of 256).

--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE posted 13 saves

--- Left wing BRETT STERLING's hat trick paced the Wolves to a 5-2 win over Lake Erie at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards MICHAEL DAVIES (G, A) and DARREN HAYDAR (3A) also notched multiple points for Chicago
--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE kicked out 26 shots

--- The Wolves prevailed with a 3-2 shootout victory over the Oklahoma City Barons at the Allstate Arena
--- Defenseman DANNY GROULX and right wing DARREN HAYDAR scored in regulation for Chicago
--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE stopped 31 of 33 shots in regulation and overtime and five of six shootout attempts
