Amerks Recall Knapp from Greenville

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Connor Knapp from the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL.

Knapp, 22, has appeared in 12 games with Greenville this season, posting a record of 5-7-0-0 with a 3.05 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage. In seven games with the Amerks this season, Knapp has gone 1-6-0 with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage.

The York, NY native appeared in 84 games during his collegiate career, posting a 46-22-11 record with a 1.94 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage. Knapp was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the sixth round (164th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
