Grizzlies Struggle Against Manchester:
~The Grizzlies faced off against one of the powers of the East this past week when they hosted Manchester in a pair of games. On Wednesday night, the Grizzlies fell behind 3-0 and 4-1 before closing the gap to 4-3 after a power play goal by Jon Sim and a shorthanded goal by Erik Westrum. Manchester would add an empty-net goal with just over a minute to play making the score 5-3. On Saturday in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Grizzlies offense struggled and the penalty kill unit gave up four power play goals to Manchester in eight chances. The shutout by Adam Hauser was his first of the season as he turned aside all 20 shots he faced.

Halloween Jersey Night Set For Friday:
~The Grizzlies will be wearing special Halloween Jerseys on Friday night when they host the Milwaukee Admirals. The jerseys will be auctioned off following the game in Harry's Bar and Grille located on the fourth floor of the âE' Center. Proceeds from the auction will go towards Easter Seals. The special jerseys are sponsored by Barco Truck Rental.
Defending Champs Heading to âE' Center:
~The defending Calder Cup champion Milwaukee Admirals will visit the âE' Center for the first time this season on Friday night. So far this year, the Admirals have picked up where they left off by posting three victories in their first four games. The Admirals and Grizzlies will meet 10 times this year with the first meeting in Milwaukee's Bradley Center coming on Saturday night. Following Friday's home game, the Grizzlies will hit the road for three straight games.

Grizzlies Partner with Salt Lake County Library for Annual Food Drive:
~The Grizzlies and the Salt Lake County Libraries will partner once again with the Utah Food Bank for the Grizzlies Face-Off Against Hunger. Fans donating a canned food item at any SLC Library branch or at select Smith's and Jiffy Lube locations will receive a voucher for a discount Grizzlies ticket good for the Grizzlies games on October 29, November 23, December 6 or January 21. Season Ticket Holder Skate Set for October 27th:
~The Utah Grizzlies annual Skate with the Team, exclusively for season ticket holders, will take place on Wednesday, October 27th at the âE' Center from 6-8 PM. For more information, contact your individual ticket sales representative or the Grizzlies office at (801) 988-8000.
