The Wolf Pack have started the season with a four-game winning streak, taking their games against Worcester, Bridgeport, and Springfield in a busy three games in three days at the end of the week. Dominic Moore, with two assists last night, is riding a four game point-scoring streak (1-4-5). The Pack's netminding duo of Jason LaBarbera and Steve Valiquette have a combined stingy 1.50 GAA.

Coming Up:

This week, the club is idle until Friday, when the team plays Lowell. On Saturday, the club will face the Portland Pirates.

Wednesday, October 27 - Wolf Pack Booster Club Meet 'n Greet 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

The team will meet with members of the Booster Club at this early season reception, open to Booster Club members and guests.

Friday, October 29 - Wolf Pack at Lowell 7:00 p.m.

* The undefeated Pack take on the Lowell Lock Monsters (3-1-1)

* The clubs face each other eight times this season

Saturday, October 30 - Wolf Pack at Portland 7:05 p.m.

* The Pack make their first trip to Portland. They play the Pirates eight times this season

* They beat the Pirates last year (4-1) in playoff action. The Pack won the final game in Portland with a 4-0 decision over the Pirates. Jozef Balej had two game winning goals in the series

Pack Tracks:

* The Wolf Pack play a rare Monday morning game on November 1 at 11:05 a.m. The team has created a special educational program called "EduSkate", where students have been invited to the game, and will be given special hockey workbooks with questions related to the game, history, geography, grammar, math and fitness. The goal is to use hockey as a teaching tool for children to learn in a fun environment

* A special lunch-time ticket is also available for all fans ... tickets purchased that day will be $10, and fans will receive a voucher for a free hotdog or pizza slice and a soda! That way, downtown business people and residents can enjoy a period or two of hockey during their lunch hour.

* This week on "Pack Talk" host Bob Crawford will chat with General Manager Jim Schoenfeld and Jozef Balej. The show takes place at Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 Main Street (Rt. 44) in Avon. They will take questions from the live audience at Little Mark's and the show is also aired live on the radio home of the Wolf Pack, ESPN Radio 1410.
