Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves would like to encourage everyone to continue to donate the much needed items to help those who have been affected by the recent flooding.
Since the flood waters have started to recede, more and more families are seeking assistance from The Salvation Army for food and cleaning supplies to help restore their lives. More than ever, there is an urgent need for all non-perishable food items such as canned meat and canned vegetables. Also, cleaning supplies such as bleach, disinfectant, facemasks, gloves, garbage bags, and insect repellant are in demand.
Donations may be dropped off at Trustmark Park, home of the Mississippi Braves. Stationed outside the gates is a Salvation Army truck where all the needed items may be received. Other drop off locations include the Vicksburg warehouse located at 2011 Washington Street, Vicksburg.
Monetary donations can be given by texting the word "GIVE" to 769-230-3270 and give any amount to local disaster relief or visit any Trustmark Bank Location to donate to the effort.
