
Union Set to Depart for Clearwater, Florida Continuing Preseason

CHESTER, Pa. ( Jan. 27, 2017) - Philadelphia Union will leave for Clearwater, Florida on Tuesday, Jan. 31 to continue their 2017 preseason. The club will train and participate in scrimmages in the first leg of their preseason in Florida. The club will compete in the 2017 Rowdies Suncoast Invitational, a preseason tournament that takes place at both Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg and the Joe DiMaggio Complex in Clearwater from Feb. 18-25.
In part with the club's partner at Visit Saint Pete/Clearwater, Philadelphia Union will be training in Clearwater, Florida for the third consecutive season.
PHILADELPHIA UNION SEASON CREDENTIALS
Philadelphia Union media members interested in covering the club for the 2017 regular season are required to apply for a credential through the club's media website HERE . To be considered for a season credential for the 2017 season you must apply through the club's application process. The deadline for the credential process is Monday, Jan. 30.
PHILADELPHIA UNION HEAD COACH JIM CURTIN PRESS CONFERENCE
Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin will be available via conference on the first leg of the trip on Wednesdays. Time will be determined in the club's weekly schedule release that will be sent out on Monday. Jan 30. Upon entering the call, please announce your name and outlet, and then mute your line for the duration of the call, unless asking a question. A Philadelphia Union communications staff member will moderate.

The Union begin the 2017 campaign by playing at Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday, March 5 (9:30 p.m. ET) before returning to Talen Energy Stadium for the 2017 home opener on Saturday, March 11 against Toronto FC (4:30 p.m. ET). In addition to Season Tickets, fans can now purchase Partial Plans and Group Tickets for all Philadelphia Union matches at Talen Energy Stadium. For the first time, the Union will be offering a Fully Flex 9 Game Plan where fans can select their games along with a Tiered Flex 5 Game plan.
