Earthquakes Renew Affiliation Agreement with Burlingame Dragons FC

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes and Burlingame Dragons FC have renewed their Major League Soccer-Premier Development League affiliation for the 2017 season. Burlingame will continue as the Earthquakes' U-23 side for the third consecutive season.

The Quakes and Dragons FC have been affiliated since 2015- Burlingame's inaugural season in PDL- and have made several connections over the past two years. This offseason, San Jose acquired two former Dragons in Homegrown signing Nick Lima and third round SuperDraft selection Christian Thierjung. Former Burlingame head coach Eric Bucchere is also now an assistant coach with the Quakes' USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC.

Dragons FC plays home games at Burlingame High School, located 30 miles north of Avaya Stadium. More information can be found at www.burlingamedragons.com.
