Trzesniak delivers 3-2 win for RedHawks

The Oklahoma RedHawks beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 3-2 in 11 innings Wednesday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.

Catcher Nick Trzesniak singled home third baseman Jace Brewer for the winning run. Brewer had tripled in the previous at bat.

Trzesniak went two-for-five with an RBI for the RedHawks.

Isotope shortstop Scott Seabol ended his incredible month of May with another home run. His two-run homer in the sixth inning gave the Isotopes a 2-1 lead. Seabol hit 15 homers in May to bring his season total to 16.

The RedHawks scored a run in the seventh inning on a bases-loaded walk by Drew Meyer. They had a chance to win the game in the ninth, but standed runners and second and third.

Second baseman Mike Kinkade went three-for-five with a double for the Isotopes. Their starting pitcher, Jeff Fulchino, went six innings and gave up one unearned run on two hits with four strikeouts.

RedHawks starting pitcher Edinson Volquez went seven innings and gave up two runs on four hits with three walks and eight strikeouts. He gave up no runs on two hits through five innings.

Relief pitcher Wes Littleton picked up his second win of the year for the RedHawks. He pitched the final 2.1 innings and held the Isotopes to one hit with no walks and two strikeouts.

The RedHawks and Isotopes will meet again at 7:05 p.m. Thursday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark.
