
Sky Sox announce vocalist tryouts

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - For the 5th consecutive year, Starbuilders Karaoke & DJ will be hosting all vocalist auditions and making the final selections of performers for all Sky Sox vocalist performances in 2006, team officials announced today.
Soloists, duets, trios and quartets are invited to audition for the The Star Spangled Banner, Take Me Out to the Ball Game and God Bless America. The Top 20 performances, as determined by the Starbuilders Karaoke & DJ staff, will perform live at Security Service Field during the 2006 season, which runs through Sept. 4. The Star Spangled Banner and Take Me Out to the Ball Game are performed at all 72 Sky Sox home games, while God Bless America is performed on all remaining Fridays (Friday Fireworks) and Sundays (Military Salute Sundays)
Tryouts begin immediately and will run through June 30. Interested vocalists are to contact Starbuilders Karaoke & DJ at (719) 599-8800 to book their studio audition. There is a $10 studio fee, with all who audition receiving two FREE undated Sky Sox reserved seat vouchers. (a $14 value)
All remaining performance opportunities are offered to school, military and church choirs.

Starbuilders Karaoke & DJ has been the "Official Audition Studio to Sky Sox Baseball" since 2002 and are located at 5775 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
