Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, an affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks, today announced plans to conduct a "Tribute to Jimmy Buffett" night on Friday, February 28.

When the Cyclones host the Toledo Storm at 7:05 PM, U.S. Bank Arena will be transformed into a tropical paradise, including $1 draft beers. The Cyclones will wear a specially designed "Hawaiian-styled" jersey, which will be auctioned after the game to benefit the Free Food Store Bank of Cincinnati. Also, the nationally known musical group St. Somewhere will be performing a live post-game concert free to all in attendance.

"Cincinnati has always been considered a Jimmy Buffett hot bed and with the cold weather this winter, we couldn't think of a better way to help everyone think of sunnier days ahead," said Cyclones President/COO Pat Pylypuik.

Two lucky fans will have the chance to melt the winter blues away by winning a trip to Key West, Florida during the first intermission.

The Cyclones host the Louisiana IceGators on Wednesday at U.S. Bank Arena at 7:05 PM. It's another "Warm 98 Wednesday" with a special 2-for-1 ticket offer on all $15 tickets with a valid Warm 98 Membership Card.

Cyclones individual game tickets can be purchased at the U.S. Bank Arena Box Office between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and after 12:00 p.m. on weekend event days. Fans can also purchase tickets through all Ticketmaster outlets, including select Kroger's stores, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or charge tickets by phone by calling (513) 562-4949. For more information, please call the Cyclones at (513) 421-7825 ext. 144.
