Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS -- Sharlon Schoop capped a stretch in which the Norfolk Tides scored in each of the last three innings, drawing a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the ninth to down the Indianapolis Indians, 4-3, Tuesday night at Victory Field.

Norfolk also plated a run in the eighth when the Tribe was unable to record an out on a potential double-play ball fielded behind second base, and in the seventh inning when Michael Almanzar was singled home after he advanced into scoring position on a wild pitch.

Elias Diaz, Alen Hanson and Josh Bell each scored runs for the Tribe.

Keon Broxton, awarded as the Indians' July Player of the Month prior to the game, had an RBI single and stole his 25th base to move into a tie for the league lead since his Triple-A debut in May.

Starter Wilfredo Boscan cruised early and finished with two runs in 6 2/3 innings. His effort extended his streak to 11 straight games with no more than two earned runs.
