The Bulls play game two of a short two-game set against the Louisville Bats, in the second series of a six-game, five-day road trip. Durham is 2-3 over the first five games of the IL West road swing, has dropped six of its last nine, is 7-12 over its last 19, and is just 12-22 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 38 of their previous 58 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 13.0-game deficit, the team's largest deficit of the season. Louisville - the Cincinnati Reds' top affiliate - has dropped seven of its last eight, and is 2-9 over its last 11. Of those nine losses, three have come to Durham.
