- Nikita Soshnikov scored his 10th goal of the season to open the scoring for the Marlies. He also extended his season high point streak to three games.

- Sam Carrick extended his point streak to six games with his third period assist.

- Richard Clune has seven points in the last seven games, recording an assist on the Toronto goal.

- Antoine Bibeau turned aside 28 shots in the losing effort, his record stands at 10-4-0-0.

NOTABLES

- This is the first road loss for the Toronto Marlies since November 13th, snapping a nine game road win streak.

- The loss also ends the Marlies 15 game road point streak, which started on October 25th against Lehigh Valley.
