Walleye Notes

- This Past Week! Toledo started the week in Evansville. Toledo put up 42 shots in a 2-1 win over the IceMen. The Walleye hit the 42 shot mark again on Friday night in Kalamazoo, but were bested 3-2 in overtime by the Wings. Overtime got Toledo again Saturday night against Kalamazoo. The Wings erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period to be Toledo 4-3 in overtime. Toledo broke out in the third period Sunday with four goals to down Fort Wayne 6-3.

- On a Run! Toledo has collected a point in twelve of the last fourteen games posting a record of 10-2-2-0 over that span. The eleven games above .500 is a season high.

- Shooting the Puck! Toledo sent 159 shots on goal in the four games this past week for an average of 39.75 per game. Toledo reached the 40 shot plateau in three of those games and has hit that mark twelve times this year. Sunday, Toledo was out shot for the tenth time this season, but the Walleye own a 9-0-0-1 record when they have been out shot this year.

- Gametime! Toledo has three straight home games coming this week in Toledo starting Friday night. The Wheeling Nailers will invade Toledo Friday for the first meeting between the two since December 12th. Toledo is 4-0-1 against the Nailers this season. Saturday night, the Fort Wayne Komets will be in town. Toledo is 6-2-0 against the Komets this season. Cincinnati will come to Toledo for the final time this season on Sunday afternoon. Toledo is 4-2-0 against the I-75 rivals this season.

- Promotions! Friday night features another Post-Game Party with the Players on the Club Level. Saturday It's NASCAR Night at the Huntington Center presented by Nationwide Insurance, The AOK Insurance & Financial Services Agency. T-Town Hockey fans can combine their love of Walleye hockey and car racing at the February 23rd game. The night's events will feature the NASCAR Nationwide Series pace car on display in the Jefferson Avenue Lobby and we will be offering fans the opportunity to take a ride on a NASCAR simulator in Section 108 on the Main Concourse. Sunday is Family Fun Day with the Toledo Walleye with Design-A-Sign opportunities, Chuck-A-Puck benefitting youth hockey, and a free postgame open skate! Join Spike, CatTrick and over 20 of their best friends for the 2013 edition of Mascot Mania Night! Fans of all ages can mingle with mascots from all over. Photo and autograph opportunities will be available on the main concourse throughout the night!
