Titans still perfect at 3-0

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans remained unbeaten through the second weekend of the regular season with a 2-1 win over the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies on Friday night at Boardwalk Hall.

Head Coach Mike Haviland returned to his old stomping grounds and came away another one in the win column as Scott Bertoli scored the eventual game-winner and Andrew Allen extended his winning streak this season to three.

The Titans head to Charlotte for a match-up with the Checkers on Friday, November 5 at 7:00pm at Cricket Arena. Trenton then returns home to face the Johnstown Chiefs on Saturday, November 6 at 7:0ppm

Friday, October 29 @ Atlantic City, 7:05pm W 2-1 Boardwalk Hall

- Mike Haviland's return to Atlantic City proved victorious as the Titans eked out a 2-1 win. The Bullies struck first with a Derek Edwardson one-timer early in the second period. Trenton would take advantage of a two-man advantage at the beginning of the third on Leon Hayward's rebound that tied the score 1-1 26 seconds in. Scott Bertoli coverted a 2-1 on break with BJ Abel at 7:44 of the final period for the game-winning goal. Andrew Allen turned away 26 of 27 shots for his third win in a row.

THIS WEEK:

Friday, November 5 @ Charlotte, 7:00pm 91.3-FM WTSR Cricket Arena

- The first of two games between the two teams. The Titans scored two 5-2 wins over the Checkers last season as they swept the season series. Trenton is 4-1 versus Charlotte at Cricket Arena over the past two seasons and leads the all-time series 16-8-2. .

Saturday, November 6 vs. Johnstown, 7:00pm 91.3-FM WTSR Sovereign Bank Arena

- The first of ten matches between the Chiefs and Titans. The two teams last played on the final day of the 2003-04 regular season. Dominic Forget had two goals in a 4-2 Johnstown win. Trenton leads the all-time series 21-12-4.
