Johnstown Chiefs News Release
The Johnstown Chiefs (1-0-3; 5 PTS; T-5th North div.) remained unbeaten in regulation this season, however they only could get two out of four points on the week as they had a pair of overtime losses versus the Pee Dee Pride. The Chiefs are now tied for fifth place with Atlantic City in the Northern division. This week the Chiefs will host Reading on Friday before taking to the road for the first time this season Saturday night when they travel to Trenton.

GAME #3 (10/29/04) Pee Dee 3 - JOHNSTOWN 2 (OT) Cann 33 Saves
Pee Dee's Mark Mullen's goal with :06 left in overtime lifted the visiting Pee Dee Pride to a 3-2 win over the Johnstown Chiefs Friday night at the War Memorial Arena. Dmitri Tarabrin and Shawn Mather scored the Johnstown goals. Mullen scored a first period goal for the Pride. Allan Sirois also scored for Pee Dee. Chiefs goaltender David Cann made 33 saves in the tie. Nic Boucher made 24 saves for the Pride.
GAME #4 (10/30/04) Pee Dee 5 - JOHNSTOWN 4 (SO) Tallari Goal, Assist
For the second straight game the Johnstown Chiefs could not solve the Pee Dee Pride as they fell in a shoot out 5-4 Saturday night at the War Memorial. Brian Collins had two goals and an assist to lead the Pride. Jan Vodrazka and Michael Chin also scored for Pee Dee. The Chiefs got goals from Shawn Mather, Steve Hildenbrand, Joe Tallari and Jean Desrochers. Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 16 saves in the game. Sebastien Laplante got the win making 15 saves. Nic Boucher started the game for Pee Dee allowing one goal while stopping six Johnstown shots.

The Chiefs and the Reading Royals (0-3-0, 0 PTS; 8th North div.) will meet Friday night for the first of seven games this season between the two teams. Last season, the Royals defeated the Chiefs 2-1 in a one game playoff to see who would go on and advance to the Kelly Cup playoffs. The Chiefs were 6-3-1 versus the Royals during the regular season last year and 4-0-0 at the War Memorial. Johnstown is 14-8-1 all-time against Reading.

Saturday night the Chiefs will take to the road for the first time this season when they visit the Trenton Titans (3-0-0, 6 PTS; T-2nd North div.). Last season, the Chiefs were 7-2-0 against the Titans. Former Atlantic City coach Mike Haviland is now at the helm of the Titans. The Chiefs and Titans will play ten times this season.

- Brent Bilodeau played his 350th game in a Chiefs uniform last Friday night versus Pee Dee.
