Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads and Extended Digital, it's exclusive marketing partner for the FanDesktop service, announced the launching of STEELHEADS FANDESKTOP NETWORK, a free entertainment service that transforms the users wallpaper into an interactive desktop magazine. Fans pick-and-choose to receive free subscriptions to a variety of channels including: Game Video Highlights, Fight of the Night Video, Game Morning Video Previews, Road Trip Video Report, along with Photos of the Game and special wallpaper and screensaver images. Fans can also load in their own family photos into the magazine.

What makes this service unique is that after installing software (downloaded from www.idahosteelheads.com) and subscribing to channels, everything is automatically downloaded. FanDesktop silently delivers Big-imagery wallpapers and near-DVD quality videos to users pc's. Users are notified by a desktop alert after new media has arrived and is ready to view. Some describe it as "TIVO FOR THE PC."

The first video Steelheads FanDesktop subscribers will receive is a 6-minute video of the last minute of the 2003-04 ECHL Championship Game 5, when the Steelheads won the Kelly Cup by defeating the Florida Everblades 5-2, as well as game highlights from the first two Steelheads 2004 games.

"FanDesktop is the perfect complement to our website because fans are always guaranteed fresh, timely and high quality digital entertainment," said Eric Trapp, Senior Vice President of the Idaho Steelheads. "Our organization is committed to increasing the overall fan entertainment experience and FanDesktop brings a new dimension of publishing and merchandising opportunities."

The Idaho Steelheads are also the first affiliate publisher of the Treasure Valley Desktop Network (TVDN), which is launching simultaneously. Over time, Steelheads fans will have the opportunity to subscribe to other free and premium channels from other Treasure Valley publishers, covering areas such as movies, concerts, health and sports. These subscriptions will also be delivered through the interactive desktop magazine.

"We think the idea of a local desktop magazine service that's a quality outlet for non-traditional media and entertainment is something that consumers would enjoy," said Cord Pereira, managing director of Extended Digital. "If we're correct, then this kind of service could be implemented in communities everywhere. So, while Steelheads fans enjoy unprecedented digital entertainment, we are also hoping that Treasure Valley organizations share the vision of the Idaho Steelheads and will become affiliate publishers themselves."

Any organization or business interested in becoming a TVDN affiliate publisher can visit www.tvdn.extendeddigital.com for more information.
