LAST WEEK: The Pride went 2-1-0 last week in three road games, improving their overall record to 4-1-0 for 8 points. Pee Dee is tied with Charlotte for first place in the East Division.
Tuesday, October 26 @ South Carolina Stingrays 5 PRIDE 2
South Carolina took a 3-0 lead with a pair of goals in the first period, and one midway through the third. The Pride closed the gap to one after two periods on goals by Michael Chin and Mark Mullen late in the period. The Stingrays went up by two on a Joe Tenute shorthanded goal at 3:55 of the third, and iced game on a Mark Ardelan tally at 7:53.
Friday. October 29 @ Johnstown PRIDE 3 Chiefs 2 (OT)
Mark Mullen's second goal of the night with just six seconds remaining in overtime lifted the Pride to their first-ever win over the Chiefs. Mullen's first goal of the night started the scoring just 2:43 into the contest. Johnstown tied the game two minutes into the second period on a Dmitri Tarabrin goal, only to see the Pride go back ahead three minutes later on an Allan Sirois power-play goal. The Chiefs tied the game at 2 late in the second period on a Shawn Mather goal. Nick Boucher recorded his second win of the season, making 24 saves on 26 shots.
Saturday, October 30 @ Johnstown PRIDE 5 Chiefs 4 (SO)
Trailing 2-1 entering the third period, the Pride tied the game just 29 seconds in on a Michael Chin power-play goal. The Chiefs went back ahead just two minutes later, as Jean Desrochers beat Sebastien Laplante. Pee Dee tied it again at 7:09 on a Brian Collins shorthanded goal, his second goal of the night, only to see the Chiefs go back on top 35 seconds later thanks to a power-play goal by Steven Hildenbrand. The Pride sent the game to overtime on Jan Vodrazka's first goal of the season with just 3:40 remaining. In the shootout, the Pride scored on three of their four attempts, while Sebastien Laplante stopped all three Chiefs' shooters to record his second win of the season.
THIS WEEKS' GAMES
Tuesday, November 2 v. Greenville 6:00 p.m. at the Lion's Den
The Pride and Grrrowl meet for the first of 10 times this season. Last season, Pee Dee was 4-1-0 against Greenville, and all-time is 29-15-4 against the Grrrowl. Greenville is 0-5-0 this season, and is in sixth place in the East Division.
PROMOTIONS: Please make note of the special early start time. It's School Night at the Lion's Den, as the Pride offered discounted tickets to all Pee Dee area schools.
Friday, November 5 @ Columbia 7:30 p.m. Coverage at 7:10 on WDAR Sunny 105.5
The Pride and Inferno meet for the first of 10 times this season. The Pride went 2-4-2 against the Inferno last season, and has an all-time mark of 9-13-3 against Columbia. Columbia is 1-1-3 for 5 points and is in fourth place of the East Division.

The Pride and Grrrowl meet for the second time this week. The Grrrowl are 0-4-0 at the BI-LO Center this season.
PRIDE IN THE COMMUNITY
Thursday, November 4
Several players will be at Lester Elementary School, teaching students skills related to hockey and the importance of safety gear.
Tuesday, November 9
The Pride, Outback Steakhouse and Honda of South Carolina are teaming up for their second annual golf tournament, with all of the proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area. The tournament is at Governor's Run Golf Club in Lamar, with lunch served at 11:15, and a shotgun start at 12:15. Teams are filling up fast. To reserve your spot, call the Pride at (843) 669-7825, or the Boys & Girls Club at (843) 662-1142. Each team will be joined by a Pride representative.
PRIDE NOTES
- The Pride's 4-1-0 start is the best to a season since 1999-2000. That team also began the year 4-1-0.
- Last season, the Pride did not win their fourth game until the ninth game of the season.
- Brian Collins has registered at least one point in each of the Pride's first five games. He leads the team in scoring with seven points.
- Eric Naud is tied for first in the ECHL in minor penalties (9).
- Mark Mullen is tied for second in the league in shooting percentage (.429).

HOCKEY TONIGHT SIGNS
The Pride's "Hockey Tonight" yard signs are back! If you need a new yard sign, you can pick one up at the Pride office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at the Customer Service Tables during home games. Remember to place your yard signs on game days. The Pride's next home game is Tuesday, November 2 against the Greenville Grrrowl. Remember that this game starts at 6:00 p.m.

All Pride away games can be heard on WDAR Sunny 105.5 FM and on-line at www.peedeepride.com with the Voice of the Pride, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to faceoff with the Palmetto Chiropractic Pre-Game Show.

Tickets for all Pride home games can be purchased at the Florence Civic Center Box Office (10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday; through the second period on game nights), all TicketMaster outlets, by phone at (843) 679-9333 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. In addition, group tickets are now available for all Pride home games.
