"Tip-A-Bruin" Night Raises Over $1,000

The Providence Bruins began their eighth year of "Tip-A-Bruin" nights on Wednesday night at Dave & Buster's in the Providence Place Mall, raising over $1,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island. Bruin players Ed Campbell, Matt Herr, Milan Jurcina and Brett Nowak helped out the waitstaff, and sold raffle tickets for autographed Bruin sticks, as well as discounted tickets for upcoming Providence Bruins home games.

Wednesday's "Tip-A-Bruin" night was the first of four this season. The next event will be held on Wednesday, January 7. The other two events will be held on Wednesday, February 11 and Wednesday, March 3. All "Tip-A-Bruin" nights will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dave & Buster's.

The Providence Bruins are unbeaten in their last four games (3-0-1-0), and at 13-8-5-0 (31 points) overall, are tied with the Hartford Wolf Pack for first place in the Atlantic Division. The Bruins and Wolf Pack will stage a battle for sole possession of the division lead when they face off in Providence on Friday, December 12 at 7:05 p.m. The Bruins also host Lowell on Sunday, December 14 at 4:05 p.m.

The Bruins are currently offering a Holiday FlexTix Special. The Special gives fans the opportunity to receive a free Providence Bruins hat, with the purchase of 10 FlexTix. The Holiday FlexTix promotion runs through December 31.
