
Crunch Announce Details of C&S Companies Score For A Cure Program

Syracuse, NY (December 9, 2003) â The Syracuse Crunch, The Syracuse Crunch's wives and girlfriends and C&S Companies announced today the details of the fourth annual C&S Companies Score For A Cure Program to benefit the Central New York Children's Hospital at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
For the third season the C&S Companies Score For A Cure Program will feature the Crunch's wives and girlfriends selling raffle tickets in the stands as well as at tables throughout the arena. All monies raised from the raffle will also be donated to Central New York Children's Hospital at University Hospital. The C&S Companies Score For A Cure Program will be held at the following Crunch games: December 13, January 10, January 17, February 14, February 18, February 27, March 13, March 20, March 27 and April 3.
The CNY Children's Hospital will be housed on two floors of a six-floor expansion of University Hospital's East Wing. The new Children's Hospital will more than triple the area used for pediatric care from 18,000 square feet to 87,000 square feet.
Private rooms for all pediatric patients will feature private bathrooms, showers and sleeper chairs. Also available is a family dining room and kitchen, pediatric chapel, school room, laundry room and play rooms.
The CNY Children's Hospital is scheduled to open in December 2007.

C&S is a group of four consulting engineering and construction services firms with more than 300 employees in eight offices nationwide. Local projects include the Onondaga Lake Improvement Program, construction management for the Clinton Square redevelopment, the Belgium Bridge replacement project in the Town of Clay, engineering design for the P & C Stadium and the CNY Regional Farmers Market Revitalization. C&S projects include roads and bridges, airports, buildings, water and wastewater plants, site development, schools and colleges and industrial facilities.
2003 marks the company's 35th year in business, and they are celebrating the milestone with a community service campaign called "35 for 35". This year-long program encourages and rewards C&S employees to volunteer 35 hours in their communities throughout 2003. C & S is on-track to meet their goal of 9,000 hours of community service company-wide.
The Crunch host Manitoba for the first-ever regular season meeting on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Chicago visits the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, December 13.
