Calgary, AB - Despite opening the scoring, the Medicine Hat Tigers would suffer their third straight defeat against the Calgary Hitmen in a 6-2 loss at the Scotiabank Saddledome Friday night.

The Hitmen would continue to add to their lead as Carson Wetsch would re-direct an arrant shot past McCallum at 4:11 to push the lead to 3-1 Calgary. The Tigers would get some push back as Oasiz Wiesblatt (Calgary, AB) decided to drop the gloves with Carter Yakemchuk. But the Hitmen would get another late in the second on a Hitmen power play as Yakemchuk would fire home his 23rd of the season to put the Calgary lead to three heading to the third by a count of 4-1.
